2025 ARROW FM Champion of Champions

2025 ARROW FM Champion of Champions
The ACT and Southern NSW Competition Managers are excited to announce a new & exciting end of season experience for the Boys & Girls Under-17s and Under-16s programs.
The ARROW FM ACT/Southern NSW Champion of Champions has been created as a value-add retention tool for players moving into senior football the following season. Furthermore, it also incentivises players to continue moving through the club’s junior ranks knowing their team could gain these high-level participation opportunities when in their competition’s respective top junior age-group.
In its inaugural year, the weekend extravaganza will be played at venues in Canberra and Queanbeyan on Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th of October 2025. A round robin competition will grade the finalists on the Saturday, with action-packed shortened matches giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills, before a day of finals on the Sunday crowns the overall champion.
As an invitation only competition, 2025 Grand Finalists from the below seven regional leagues Under-17s/Under-16s Boys and Girls divisions will compete for the honour of being the ACT/Southern NSW Champion of Champions.
1. AFL Riverina,
2. AFL Canberra,
3. AFL Central West,
4. AFL Farrer FNL
5. AFL Sapphire Coast,
6. AFL South Coast, and
7. Hume FNL
Steven Mahar Regional Manager – ACT/Southern NSW provided a glowing endorsement of the concept, including the opportunities for regional teams that the weekend will provide.
“This is a fantastic initiative for clubs across the ACT and Southern NSW to be part of. We see it as a powerful tool for player retention, ensuring players remain connected to their local clubs while also offering the chance to challenge themselves against the top teams in the region at some of our best venues.”
“We’re incredibly grateful for the fantastic support of our sponsor, ARROW FM, whose backing has made this opportunity possible.”
Although in its infancy, the competition will be enhanced by the corporate support of ARROW FM, whose contribution will aid the professionalism of the event including allowing for live streaming of matches.
“We are super excited to be the Naming Rights Partner for this event, and can’t wait to be involved” said Djali Bloomfield, Managing Director – ARROW FM.
“ARROW FM have a link in all regions that will be involved in this concept through facility maintenance and ground lighting. To jump on board and support grass roots footy was a no brainer for us” he added.
“We love it.”
