Senior Rep Footy Returns
AFL South Coast is pleased to advise that Senior Representative Football will return in 2019. This will include a Mens Team, and for the first time ever an AFL South Coast Womens team to represent the league!
AFL South Coast will play against AFL Hunter Central Coast early in the season which will provide an opportunity for our most talented players to compete against another league but also will provide a great guide to the strength of the South Coast competitions.
Details for this representative fixture are:
Teams: Senior Men and Women
Opponent: AFL Hunter Central Coast
Date: Saturday 18th May (full bye round for AFL South Coast Senior competitions)
Location: Pasterfield Sports Complex, Cameron Park (West Newcastle)
Match times: Women @ 3pm, Men @ 5pm with Post Game Function at the ground
To ensure the success of this years program we require an off field team of Coaches, Team Manager and support staff. To that end we are requesting Expressions of Interest for these positions.
If you are interested in being part of this program, please submit your Expression of Interest to Dave.Johnson@afl.com.au by COB Thursday 28 March.
Coaches submitting an EOI should review the attached Position Description for the Senior Coaching roles (separate roles) and in their submission outline their coaching experience as well as details of a proposed program including a training and selection process.
