Annual Tom Smith Cup To Be Played This Weekend

THIS Saturday, West Street Oval will play host to AFL South Coast’s annual Tom Smith Cup – a carnival which signifies the first bounce of a new season.
The matches on the day will start with the four men’s teams; Nowra-Albatross, Kiama, Shellharbour and Dapto, going head-to-head in a round robin competition from 9am.
In the women’s competition, there are five teams taking part – with all sides playing two games.
Of particular note, reigning women’s premiers Bomaderry take on the Wollongong Saints at 1.30pm and Nowra-Albatross Vikings at 3pm – with the Kiama Power and Shellharbour Suns also have women’s teams competing in the carnival.
